Roots International Art Project is a cultural arts initiative originally hosted as a small, standalone site embedded within Marguerite Elliot’s website. For this project, I restructured and fully integrated the existing content into a new, dedicated platform — consolidating the project’s digital presence while minimizing redundancy, cost, and long-term maintenance.

For this project, I restructured and fully integrated the existing content into a new, dedicated platform — consolidating the project’s digital presence while minimizing redundancy, cost, and long-term maintenance.

The site was redesigned to support a growing archive of artists and cultural materials, with new navigation, layout systems, and page structures developed to accommodate depth and scalability. I created the artist directory in two formats — organized both alphabetically and by country — allowing users to navigate the archive intuitively from multiple entry points. To preserve continuity and reduce unnecessary rebuilds, the original artist page formatting was intentionally retained while all other areas of the site were rebuilt and refined. The result is a cohesive, fully updated website that honors existing content while providing a clearer, more sustainable framework for future growth.
