artist book development

I work with artists to design and produce custom books that document, reflect, and elevate their creative practice.

Whether you’re creating a catalog for an exhibition, an archive for collectors, or a legacy piece for your studio, I handle the full production process — from layout to print-ready files to digital delivery.

What's included:

  • Collaborative design and layout

  • Image curation and formatting for print

  • Cover design and visual sequencing

  • Self-publishing support (ISBN, proofing, ordering)

  • Print and digital file preparation (PDF + flipbook versions)

  • Optional assistance with printing and vendor coordination

I do not provide writing services, but I can work with your existing text or content team.

How It Works

1.   We begin with a consultation to discuss the format, goals, and content

2.  You provide text and images (or we organize them together)

3.   I’ll handle layout, design, and production-- including formatting for print and digital

4.  You receive a finalized, ready-to-print book and/or digital version (flipbook or PDF)

featured Project: Molten Ice by David Ruth

This artist book was created to document the work of sculptor David Ruth, serving as both a visual archive and a collector-facing publication.

I provided full layout design, image organization, and production coordination — including self-publishing, printed copies, and a digital flipbook version.

The book was developed using content written by the artist and designed to reflect his process, palette, and studio voice.

Featured Project: The Concept of Leaf Skeletons By Mitsu YoshikawA

This minimalist booklet was created for photographer Mitsu Yoshikawa to document a recent body of work. With a clean, spacious layout and subtle design, the format reflects the quiet intricacy of Yoshikawa’s digitally altered leaf skeletons. Every element was kept intentionally simple to allow the imagery to take center stage.
